My name is Christine Gareis. I qualified as a speech and language therapist after obtaining a first class honours degree in clinical language sciences at Leeds Metropolitan University. Since then I have worked across a number of roles in the NHS within clinics and mainstream schools. I have also worked on projects for The Communication Trust. More recently I was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction at The University of Sheffield specialising in Language and Literacy. I continue to work part time in the NHS as a specialist speech and language therapist alongside my independent work at Steps 2 Talking.
